How Do I Apply for a Job?
Open positions are advertised on the City of Athens Website.

A properly completed original City of Athens application is required along with a current resume. Faxed copies are not accepted.

If you wish to apply, please come by the Human Resources Department between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. The Human Resources Department is temporarily located on the second floor of the Athens Utilities headquarters building at 1806 Wilkinson Street, Athens, Alabama.
