1. Can I request an extra patrol at my residence while I am out of town?

Yes. You are encouraged to complete a residence check application and submit it to Athens Police Department. Officers will check your property several times each day as our calls for service permit. We will walk around your home or business to check for unsecure doors or windows and notify you or your designated keyholder of any problems we might discover.
