Biography
Allen Creasy has served on the Athens City Council since November 2025. He was born in Florence, Alabama, on August 15, 1964. He was raised in Leighton, Alabama, where he graduated from Colbert County High School in 1982. Mr. Creasy attended the University of North Alabama after high school, graduating with a degree in Education. He worked his way through college, coaching in Colbert County while driving back and forth to the Saginaw/General Motors plant in Athens.
Mr. Creasy retired from Athens High School after serving 16 years as the head football coach for the Golden Eagles. He currently works as the National Sales Director for Wright Equipment. He and his wife, Jenny Carden Creasy, have five children and four grandchildren together. He attends Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.
