Holly Hollman is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, where she received her bachelor of science degree with a major in journalism and a minor in public relations.
She worked as a newspaper reporter before starting her position with the City of Athens.
She serves on the boards of Athens Arts League and Athens-Limestone Hospital Foundation. She is a mentor for the Athens Mayor's Youth Commission and captain of the City of Athens Relay for life Team. Holly volunteers with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Committee and various activities with Lincoln-Bridgeforth Park Committee and Athens-Limestone Community Association. She has served on various grant review boards.
